Okay. So. It isn't so much that I NEED Human companionship; I've been alone for years, really. I gotta tell ya' though, from what I've observed, folks here are pretty friendly, with each other. My focus is on my business at hand and there's no time for dillying OR dallying - BUT - somehow, my "nervous around attractive women" radar has been re-activated and I've had more than one conversation recently, with at least THREE different ladies, when I felt I was getting those 'come hither' vibes. Could be my rusty old system reacting to the elevation difference and needs readjusting. Might be the fact that it's Spring and Good Golly Miss Molly! it is beautiful here to the Grand Valley! Could be a lot of things, I reckon. I know one thing. I've been in Colorado for a month now. I ain't "MET" nobody, but .... No wants. No warrants. No asswhuppin's - given or taken. S'been a GOOD month!

Thanks for the advice, and I WILL try a less aggressive attempt - should there be a next time. "How's it hangin', Babe?" might be as successful for me as it has been for you. My being a (WAAAAAY MORE THAN) two time loser has made me change the way I think of ladies and I have a whole new perspective.
